Aran Cushion

I finished the first Aran Cushion cover! I'm just starting another in cream aran and they are each Christmas gifts for my aunts. I think they'll like them :)

I used:
Donegal Aran Tweed one skin (200g) in Lime Green
5mm needles
1 x Cable needle


To cover a 16x16 cushion cast on 71 stitches
knit, purl to end of row
purl, knit to end of row
(repeat row one and two)

Knit 7 work pattern (I used the pattern section from the Cosy jumper in Rowan Studio 14) Knit 7
Purl 7, pattern 57, purl 7
Repeat until you have complete the pattern 12 times

Knit 2, purl 2 to end
purl 2, knit 2 to end
repeat x 4
cast off
