Lattice cushion


This one is based on the lattice pattern from the harmony guides: cable and aran stitches It took a lot longer than the others because there are cables on every row and also because I haven't had much time to knit lately!

Pattern:
I used size 5mm needles, a cable needle and aran wool

Cast on 76 stitches

Rib
1: k2, p2
2: p2, k2
repeat both rows

Pattern
1: p5, c2b, *p6, c2b; rep from * to last 5 sts, p5
2: k5, p2, *k6, p2; rep from * to last 5 sts, k5
3: p4, *t2b, t2f, p4; rep from * to end
4: k4, *p1, k2, p1, k4; rep from * to end
5: p3, *t2b, p2, t2f, p2; rep from * to last st, p1
6: k3, *p1, k4, p1, k2; rep from *to last st, k1
7: p2, *t2b, p4, t2f; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2
8: k1, p2, *k6, p2; rep from * to last st, k1
9: p1, c2b, *p6, c2b; rep from * to last st, p1
10: as 8th row
11: p2, * t2f, p4, t2b; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2
12: as 6th row
13: p3, *t2f, p2, t2b, p2; rep from * to last st, p1
14: as 4th row
15: p4, *t2f, t2b, p4; rep from * to end
16: as 2nd row

Repeat rows until knitting measures 30inches or 77cm

Rib 
6 rows as previous rib section. If you would like button wholes cast off 2 stitches where you would like them on the 3rd row and add 2 back in above them on the 4th row.
